After many years of competitive dance, I quickly learned that I enjoyed applying makeup and styling hair more than I liked performing. This miraculous realization came to me while sitting in the mirror and getting ready for a competition. That was the day I decided I no longer wanted to be a dancer, but instead a cosmetologist.
I have always been incredibly motivated to achieve any goal that I set for myself. I was able to finish high school a year early before starting cosmetology school at the College of DuPage. Following the fast track, I was determined to finish at COD and graduated with an Associates of Applied Sciences in Cosmetology.
While attending COD, I threw myself into the world of makeup and hair. I watched countless YouTube tutorials to improve my skills and learn new techniques. People from my high school would come to me for makeovers for school dances, parties, and other special occasions. I was starting to build locally, and those clients are still with me to this day. Without them, I wouldn’t be where I am today as a makeup artist or a stylist.
Next to my love for makeup, falls my love for hair. Hair combines what I love most; science, business, and creativity! I am a new Talent Stylist that recently finished my apprenticeship at Salon Glow. I love getting new people in my chair and thrive from the relationship I have built with clients who I see on a regular basis.
Outside of the salon, you can always find me studying or spending time with my loved ones. I am currently studying at DePaul University to obtain a Bachelors in Business Management with a minor in Community Service Studies. I value working within the community and do a lot of volunteer work in my free time.
My goal is to build a one on one connection with every client that sits in my chair. I want your trip to the salon to be unforgettable! I value not only making people look beautiful, but feel beautiful. I hope to inspire my clients to find the beauty and passion within themselves while providing exceptional services.
