Hi! My name is Kaitlyn, but you can call me Kait. I love yoga, drinking coffee, the color pink and spending quality time with my family (and my puggle Teddy).

I actually was born in Chicago, although a few months afterwards we moved back to Michigan to be closer to family. I grew up in a small town just outside of East Lansing called Laingsburg, but knew one day I wanted to experience the city my parents adored so much.

Directly out of highschool, I studied psychology at Lansing Community College aspiring to follow in my mother’s footsteps as a family grief therapist - I've always had a passion for helping others. However, I have also had a passion for art and all things beauty for as long as I can remember. My appreciation for art and cosmetology developed at a young age when I was growing up in my Nana’s salon. After receiving my cosmetology license from the Douglas J Aveda Institute in East Lansing, I relocated to Chicago to pursue a full-time position at Salon Glow. I feel so lucky to be able to combine my passions of creativity and service, while at the same time working on such a passionate and close-knit team!
